What We Do.
“We are offering English Tuition at our private training facility located in Kilmore Village located 1 mile from Crossgar in Co Down.
With 25+ year’s experience, our tutor offers professional, confidential individual and small group tuition for primary and post primary students including transfer test tuition, KS3 Literacy improvement, GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature as well as AS and A2 English Literature. Our tutor is a highly qualified and experienced GCSE and A Level CEA Examiner and uses a range of teaching and learning strategies to best suit the needs of individual learners.
Sessions cover all aspects of the curriculum and relevant syllabus content as well as offering practical opportunities to rehearse examination skills such as planning for extended writing, analysis of writer’s craft, approaching exam questions, using mark schemes to improve content as well as teaching key concepts. There is always a focus on technical accuracy and improving vocabulary and syntax.
Availability
Our tutoring sessions are 1 hour long and are normally conducted outside school hours in the early evening via zoom. We will normally split this over 2 zoom sessions, each 30 minutes long. The 1 hour tuition session starts at the arranged session time and not when the student logs in.
Pricing
Primary & Transfer Test – from £50 per hour session
KS3 (Year 8, 9, 10) – from £35 per hour session
GCSE – from £40 per hour session
AS and A level – from £45 per hour session
Payment Options
Our payment options are, in our opinion, the most convenient options available to our customers. We are able to accept cash, bank to bank transfer and card payments (both e-invoice and contactless/chip and pin).
Our card payment invoice option is the most popular due to our ability to accept credit card payments.
Upon receipt and confirmation of your booking request, we will send an invoice via e-mail (or contactless/chip & pin). You are then able to click and pay online at your convenience with your preferred card to our SQUARE payment portal. Our electronic invoice will set up a payment due by date with automated reminders set to send followup reminders once the due date passes.
